DETAILS:
Eleven Kentucky peace groups, environmental organizations, and faith organizations are sponsoring a a three-day "Walk to Stop Mountain Top Removal." The march's final leg is to the capitol building, where marchers will join KFTC's "I Love Mountains Day" rally. After the rally, they will join other rally attendees to lobby their representatives against Mountain Top Removal and for the Stream Saver Bill.
The public is invited to join us Monday evening for a potluck supper at Lexington's Quaker Meetinghouse. We will share with the community "why we walk."
Some of the walkers will spend the night at the churches.

On 2/11 the marchers will walk to Kentucky River View Park where they will join KFTC marchers and walk together to the State Capitol building. To register to walk or for more information contact the three persons below. This will be a drug and alcohol free event.
