This campus is directly north of Commonwealth Stadium. Bus routes #3, 33, 34, and 35 come by the campus or close to it. Parking enforcement at BCTC will be suspended before, after, and during this presentation.

DETAILS:
A mechanical engineer by training, Dave Cooper became a full-time environmental activist after seeing the Kayford mountaintop removal site. He worked for a year as a coalfield organizer with the Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition and is very active with the Sierra Club and Mountain Justice. His "Mountaintop Removal Road Show" has educated people throughout the country about this particularly destructive method of coal extraction. Click here to learn about Dave and MTR.
